CYPRESS, Texas - Six horses died Sunday morning in a fire at a northwest Harris County subdivision stables.
Flames broke out before daybreak at the Ravensway stables.
Cypress Creek firefighters managed to rescue two of the trapped horses but heat and flames kept them from saving the others.
One of the horse owners, Brandon Warren, 17, says he worked at the stables to earn money to buy the animal six years ago.
