Cy-Fair’s Cutest Cover Contest
Cy-Fair Magazine is looking for the cutest kids in the greater Cy-Fair area, ages 2-8. Email a head shot of your cutie to editor@cyfairmagazine.com. Include your name, your child’s name, age, and address. All contestants must live within the Cy-Fair ISD boundaries. Finalists and semi-finalists will be published in an upcoming issue. Up to ten finalists will be chosen to attend the cover photo shoot for the winter issue of Cy-Fair Magazine. One lucky Cy-Fair Cutie will be chosen as Cy-Fair's Cutest and featured as the Cover Model for our Winter Issue!

Recession? Phooey! "When life gives you scraps, make quilts!" Give a gift of love this holiday season - made of scraps. Even a "designed" quilt requires only a small amount of cotton fabric. In this series of four 2-hour classes, Jackie Rutan will demonstrate all necessary techniques to make a beautiful quilt in holiday colors, using the machine-piecing patchwork style. Students will be encouraged to work on their own quilts between classes utilizing the techniques demonstrated. Cost: $110 for Arboretum members, $135 for non-members.
